Luxury car hire terms and conditions

1.1 Hire periods must be a minimum of 24 hours, and any extra hours beyond this time frame will be treated as an additional day of hire.

1.2 We recommend that you thoroughly inspect the vehicle and any accessories upon delivery and before signing the local agreement. Make sure to document any damages clearly on the delivery slip and allow enough time for a similar inspection upon collection.

1.3 Only those individuals listed on the hire contract are covered by insurance to drive the vehicle. Should you allow anyone not named in the hire agreement to operate the car, you will incur a complete loss of the Security Deposit. Ensure you provide driver’s license details for any additional drivers at the time of booking.

1.4 All vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel, and there is no refueling charge if the vehicle is returned with a full tank.

1.5 The hirer is liable for all costs associated with recovery, draining, and repairs if the incorrect fuel is used.

1.6 To finalize the hire process, accurate, current, and complete personal documents are required.

1.7 Amara is committed to safeguarding personal information through reasonable security measures against loss or theft. If we cannot supply the requested vehicle directly, we may source it from a trusted partner. In such cases, we reserve the right to share your information solely with these trusted partners to facilitate the hire on your behalf, and they are prohibited from using your personal data for any purposes other than hire.

1.8 By signing the confirmation document in this situation (1.7), you agree to adhere to the terms and conditions set forth by our preferred partners and take responsibility for reading the local contract before signing, as any disputes must be raised directly with them.
1.9 Your personal information will not be sold or distributed to third parties. However, we may utilize your information to inform you about any special offers on certain vehicles.

1.10 You, as the hirer, will be charged for any damages resulting from improper use of the vehicle. Your liability in cases of vehicle abuse is not limited to the amount of the Security Deposit.

1.11 Vehicles are equipped with GPS to issue warnings for various reasons, such as detecting excessive speeding. If you disregard these warnings and continue to operate the vehicle in a manner we consider excessive, you may forfeit the Security Deposit. Any damages resulting from misuse of the vehicle may lead to its collection without a replacement being offered.

1.12 As the hirer, you commit to paying the daily rate for any days the vehicle is taken off-road for repairs due to damages caused by excessive or abusive wear.

1.13 If we do not have a Security Deposit, in the event of any damage or theft, you agree to cover the full amount as originally quoted.

1.14 We reserve the right to decline a hire request without providing a reason.

**Cancellation Policy**
2.1 If you decide to cancel your reservation please note that the reservation fee is non-refundable. However, in certain circumstances, this fee may be credited towards a future reservation. If the cancellation occurs within two weeks prior to the rental start date, a 50% fee of the rental cost will be incurred. Should the cancellation occur within one week of the rental commencement, the full rental amount will be charged. Please be aware that these terms may change and can differ based on each booking, depending on the notice period provided before the delivery date.
**Accidents**
3.1 All accidents must be reported to the police immediately, and the accident report form should be completed within 24 hours of the incident.
3.2 Not reporting the accident to the police may lead to the insurance coverage becoming void.

**Kilometre Allowances**
4.1 Each vehicle has a daily mileage limit. Any mileage exceeding this limit will incur charges at the excess mileage rate specified in your booking confirmation.
4.2 Additional kilometers can be purchased in advance; however, any unused pre-purchased miles are non-refundable.

**Vehicle Returns**
5.1 If the vehicle’s condition or the weather/light conditions prevent a thorough inspection upon return, we reserve the right to conduct a complete inspection at our facility once the vehicle has been properly cleaned.
5.2 If we have permitted the vehicle to be returned to a different location, it is essential to notify us when the vehicle is ready for pickup, and the car should be parked safely and legally until collected.

**Security Deposit**
6.1 The amount of the excess varies depending on the car rented and is stated at the time of the offer. The Security Deposit will be processed for the rental duration and is held to cover the excess in case of any damage to the vehicle during the rental period. (Please refer to the Conditions of Hire)

6.2 If the vehicle is involved in an accident, the Security Deposit will be retained until it is confirmed that no insurance claims will be made against the policy or the hirer (non-fault). If the hire vehicle sustains any damage, the hirer agrees to be responsible for all repairs and damage costs up to the Security Deposit amount.

6.3 The hirer is responsible for all parking, traffic, speeding, or other violations incurred while the vehicle is being rented and must cover the associated fines. Whenever feasible, all fines and penalty notices will be communicated to the hirer.
**Limits of Liability**
7.1 Amara is fully accountable for correctly facilitating the car rental booking with a preferred partner car rental company. If we cannot provide the vehicle from a preferred partner, we may source it from an individual instead. We are not liable if rental agreements are not finalized locally due to reasons attributable to the customer. Such reasons may include:
- Missing or expired documents at the time of pickup (valid driving license, passport/personal ID, driver's credit card)
- Not meeting rental prerequisites like full payment and processing the Security Deposit, minimum/maximum age requirements
- Being unable or unfit to drive due to consumption of alcohol, drugs, medication, etc.

7.2 Amara is not liable for any claims arising from the contractual rental agreement between the customer and the preferred partner car rental company, nor for the rental car itself. In case of disputes, customers must reach out to the car rental company as their contractual partner. Amara does not hold responsibility for the rented vehicle. Therefore, any claims from the customer are strictly limited to the supplier involved at the time.

**Replacement of Reserved Vehicle:**
Should the reserved vehicle be unavailable due to circumstances such as an accident or logistical issues, Amara reserves the right to provide a substitute vehicle of the same category. This ensures that customers can still enjoy a comparable luxury car experience, even when unforeseen circumstances arise that affect vehicle availability.
